I think this is one of the things that I hear most often. People assume since they are not yet established in life they do not need a prenup. While I can understand that thinking, I feel that it is very short-term thinking. You may not have anything now but do you plan to have things in the future? Are you working toward building business? Will that be taking off in the next few years? Are you just starting your career? Do expect to move up and be promoted in 5 years?
A prenup is not just about the now, but also about the future. What do you hope to have? What do you plan to have? Do you want to protect it? Think long term when deciding if you need a prenup.
